This one was my favorite of the series if I had to choose one, but you should read all of them. This involves Mari going back in time to rescue the daughter of her aunt. She leaves behind a complete itinerary of where she should be at that something has gone wrong if she's not right back. Needless to say, things go haywire and funny and dangerous situations occur along with steamy love scenes. It will definitely wake up your senses. Mari is a very strong headed girl and isn't afraid to take what she wants!

I had eagerly awaited reading this book, and just finished it. Sadly, I was very disappointed. I had read Highland Guardian first, and really liked it - it turned me on to the genre. I next read Thirty Nights with a Highland Husband (which was actually the first in the series) and enjoyed it immensely, too - especially since there were distict differences, yet both flowed together. This book, in comparison to the other two, is not nearly as 1) intriguing or 2)romantic. While the others were fresh, this seemed stale. Maybe I am mostly disappointed because I was madly in love with Ramos after Guardian, and yet here he is simply another he-man, boring hero.
I have read this series 5 times and they are exciting everytime I read them. Read them first to last

This has been a great series, and I was looking forward to reading more about this particular character. I also wanted to know more about the hero, and the author didn't let me down. It was well written and the storyline held my interest throughout. If you love Melissa Mayhue, don't skip this series. It's great!
I buy everything she writes the minute it's published, and then buy it again as soon as it comes out on audio—if it ever does. I love great writing of most genres, but fantasy is one of my favorites, and good versus evil is a firm foundation here.
This was a fantastic novel. I love that it had a strong plot in addition to passionate romance. To many times I have read a paranormal romance and found the plot lines absolutely laughable, corny and not worth reading. This series of books is excellent (all of them)! Most of the books I have read in the paranormal genre have been vampire romances, these were such a refreshing change for me. I highly recommend all The Daughters of the Glen books.
I am enjoying Melissa Mayhue books in order. This book brings home to roost many sayings that I heard in my youth like "Be careful what you wish for......."Mauri has great spirit and courage, only it takes a bit to find it. Ramos has his own issues. The adventure you share with the two people . Left me looking for more. Thank you Melissa for a great read.
