I just had to slap my hands and get tough with myself. I am three reviews behind my reading! The problem right now is that I already had book two of this series and I didn't stop reading to do my own writing. Bad Dar, bad Dar!

And look at this! I didn't know that this author was a male! So I have to give kudos fo his writing. With my goal of the last couple years to read mostly books written by women with strong female main characters, and aiming for the Bechdel test awareness, this book nearly slid right by. I think it was around the third chapter that I had to stop and look up this author. Women talking to each other and not about the male characters, realistic feelings coming from all of the people in the story. Men who cry. Women with power! Wow! H.T. Night, I am proud of you! And I plan to read more by you.

Oh, and look at this: NO CLIFFHANGER! It ended nicely yet I just wanted to see what happened next.

Now I am not a Wiccan and have only studied a tiny amount. So it felt believable...all except the person who is a warlock. I have heard that men are witches, too. Aren't warlocks dark magicks? If anyone wants to educate me on that I would be happy to know.

For what it's worth, Mr. Night has a plethora of books out there with vampires and wolves and all. I may have to stretch our my reading chops and finally include those bitie creatures. Now more reviews to do before I can read more!

HT has never let me down, I love his books. His heart, intelligence & humor always shines through. This book was no different. This book was great fun for me. It was a love triangle with a paranormal twist that grabbed my attention & stole my heart.

I enjoyed the characters, the dialogue, the story, the humor... I really loved it all (OK, I hated Paris with a passion). The good weren't perfect. They were flawed, like real people. That's one thing I loved about this book. I could relate & think about what I'd do in each situation. When the characters ring true to me, I get more invested & attached to them. I cared about them.

I loved that ethical and moral issues were touched upon. That's always interesting to me. The men are not the only important & intriguing choice that Sahara must make. I found myself rooting for & even occasionally talking to my kindle, the choices I wanted Sahara to make. That's a sign of the passion that this book evoked in me.

I should mention that the ending was different than in the original version. Frankly, I strongly approve! This is what I always wanted to happen although I understood why the 1st ending was written. This is what I believe I would've done in Sahara's shoes. I was rooting for this ending BIG TIME!!!!

I recommend this book to other paranormal, Wiccan & romance lovers. I HATE having to wait to see what happens next. I am seriously hooked. Please hurry up with the next installment, HT. I'll try to be patient.
Ht night has done it again. Witch to choose is an excellent start to another fantastic series in the making 5 stars for sure. This re-edited version does has a nice new twist. Romance witches warlocks and regular folk all rolled into one book. This book really took me on a heartfelt journey with these characters. My heart went out to Sahara with the choices she has to make during the journey. Finding out about witches is one thing but becoming one and having to deal with it would take its toll on anyone. Sahara has not only become a witch but is trying to find her true love as well. Enter Robert the most wonderful of men, good hearted, loving and so sweet but Sahara also meets Donovan the most beautiful man she has ever seen. While dating both these men Sahara has trouble deciding which to choose. I had such a good time reading this book . Ht gives you fun and laughter with twists and turns you wouldn't expect. Good witch bad witch which path will she choose? Has Sahara found the right love for her I can't wait to see what happens next thanks for taking me on such a warm journey.

Sahara is the main character and in a slump. She is in her 30's, good looking, has a boring job & needs romance. So she takes a chance and sets up a date on the Internet. Yeah, yeah, it's a chance but sometimes they work out if they're not a stalker or murderer. (Mine worked out and we've been married for 17 years and he's a great guy!). Anyhow, she meets Robert and they hit it off right away. On the way home she meets Paris who is a witch and talks to Sahara about becoming a good witch or a bad witch. Sounds intriguing to her but there are ethical & moral dilemmas that she will have to take in consideration plus the consequences that comes with the good and the bad. She really likes Robert but then Donovan comes into her life and he is a dream come true! Last week she had no one now she has 2 wonderful men to choose from. What to do?? The dilemma is overwhelming! For someone who had a boring life, now she has witches and warlocks, romance, and regular folks in her life. Who to choose? The characters and plot has a good flow and you'll love everyone. H.T. Keeps you interested and in a roll with this new series. You'll have to read the 2nd book to find out who she chooses for a boyfriend and will she choose white or black magic? I see the series getting better and better as the characters evolve.
